Jalpaiguri, 02nd January: Special Supervisor of Trinamool Om Prakash Mishra held a meeting with the Chairman of the Trinamool Core Committee and Tourism Minister Goutam Deb at Jalpaiguri’s Circuit House today.
In view of the assembly elections, Om Prakash Mishra has been sent to Jalpaiguri district to solve various problems of the party before the election. Mishra is likely to stay in Jalpaiguri district till the next election. At the moment he has held meetings with various party workers and addressed public meetings.
Today’s meeting between the two heavyweight leaders is being considered as very important in the political circles. After the meeting, Om Prakash Mishra said, “I am trying to solve the problem by organizing the meeting. I came here with some plans. I have conveyed my point to everyone and asked the workers to give their opinion within 24 hours.”
On the other hand, Tourism Minister Goutam Deb said that they discussed the party’s organizational issues. “I am not able to give much time to the party. The party has sent Om Prakash Mishra. I will also help him,” Deb added.
