Trinamool Mahila Congress Fulbari-2 tied Rakhis to BSF jawans stationed at Indo-Bangladesh border

Rajganj, 22nd August: Raksha Bandhan festival was celebrated by the Trinamool Congress Women’s wing, who tied Rakhis to the BSF jawans stationed at the Indo-Bangladesh border, Fulbari – No. 2 Zone.


In this regard, Latika Roy Das, President of Dabgram-Fulbari Block Trinamool Mahila Congress said that the soldiers posted on the border serve the country day and night by risking their lives. Commending their selfless dedication, Latika Roy Das said that every year the women’s wing of TMC ties Rakhi to BSF jawans posted on the border. However, the programme was kept on low-key keeping in mind the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic. Trinamool Mahila Congress’s circle president Rinku Mandal, Konika Roy and others were also present on the occasion.
