Siliguri, 11th July: Ronnie Pal, a resident of the Madhya Shantinagar area of Dabgram-2 region, took initiative for area beautification and enhancing greenery. He organized a tree-plantation programme and planted trees all over the area.
In this regard, Ronnie Pal said that phrases such as “ Plant a tree and save a life” should not be only limited to the pages of books. All must implement it in real life. He also urged the youths to come forward in tree planting.
Officer-in-Charge of Ashighar Outpost Police Parthasarathi Das, social activist Gautam Goswami, Dabgram-2 Gram Panchayat Pradhan Sudha Singh Chatterjee, Forest Officer of Baikunthpur Division, Principal of Xavier’s International School Pallab Chakraborty, Former deputy Pradhan of the area, and many others were present at the programme.
