Siliguri, 03rd October: Sensation prevailed after an alleged case of murder surfaced from the Jatiyakali Chatpradhan Para area near Fulbari.
It has been learned that two men namely Rahul Mohammad and Lutfar Mohammad arrived at the residence of a businessman named Dulal Hossain at around 10 pm on August 22 and took him outside. Shockingly, Hossain was found in a critically injured condition at North Bengal Medical College and Hospital on August 23. He was later admitted to a private hospital in Siliguri, where he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment on October 02.
Meanwhile, police sources said that he was found lying in an injured condition at the roadside in the Bhutki area.
However, the family of the deceased refused to accept it as an accident case and accused Rahul Mohammad and Lutfar Mohammad of killing him. The mourning family has already lodged a murder complaint against the duo at the NJP police station.
An investigation has been launched into the incident.
