Tourist couple who came to visit Sikkim from Kolkata becomes a victim of fraud

Siliguri, 24th May: Tourists who were to visit Sikkim from Kolkata became a victim of fraud. On Tuesday, the duo from Tollygunge in Kolkata reached NJP station to visit Sikkim. 
Apparently, they had booked their tour through a Kolkata-based travel agency at a cost of Rs 72,000. A cab was supposed to receive them at the station. However, the cab was a no-show.
After this, the tourists sought help from the NJP police station. The police contacted the tour operator and a part of the payment was returned to the tourists. Later a vehicle was arranged for the couple with the help of local auto dealers.
