TMC’s INTTUC backed Regulated Market Permanent-Temporary Godi Worker’s & Labour Union handed over memorandum to Pradhan Nagar Police Station

Siliguri, 01st June: Siliguri’s Regulated Market, one of the biggest market for raw materials in North Bengal, has been witnessing a constant brawl between two labor unions over the past several years. The political atmosphere in the market has become entirely jittery due to the factionalism
On Wednesday, a memorandum was handed over by the Regulated Market Permanent-Temporary Godi Worker’s and Labour Union of the Trinamool-backed labor organization INTTUC to the Pradhan Nagar police station. In this memorandum, Working President Pawan Kumar Saha said that a few days ago, a new labor organization was formed in the Regulated Market without notifying the old committee. Allegedly, some members of the new committee are involved in immoral activities. The Trinamool labor leaders have also been informed in this regard on behalf of the Labour Union.
Pawan Kumar Saha further alleged that the new union’s members are evicting old workers of Regulated Market and replacing them with new ones. Due to this, an atmosphere of tension has gripped the market. Keeping this in mind, the Labour Union submitted a memorandum at the Pradhan Nagar police station to maintain peace and take steps to avoid untoward incidents in the market.
