TMCP demanded to increase number of seats in Siliguri College

Siliguri, 25th November: Despite passing the high secondary examinations, many students are facing difficulties during college admission due to a shortage of seats. Trinamool Chhatra Parishad, on Thursday, staged a protest in Siliguri College and demanded an increase in seats.


“Many students have not been able to get admission to the college yet. I have demanded that the seats in Siliguri College be increased,” TMCP leader Abhijit Banerjee.

Meanwhile, the principal of the college Sujit Ghosh said that 315 seats have been increased in the college when the admission process started.
