TMC President Ranjan Sarkar counterattacks MP Raju Bista’s statements

Siliguri, 28th May: Darjeeling MP Raju Bista, after reaching Bagdogra Airport on Thursday, accused the State government of failing to deal with the pandemic so far.

In response to his remark, Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress President Ranjan Sarkar stated that such unnecessary confusion should not be created among the people and further raised questions concerning the condition in Gujarat.

Sarkar further stated that the common people very well know regarding the initiatives taken by the state government amid the pandemic. The doctors, police officials, and the health workers in West Bengal are on the frontline and are working hours during such a crisis. He further added that without having complete knowledge, the MP has no right to make such comment. Sarkar further accused the MP of being unavailable for two long months.

Apart from this, Bista also expressed outrage over the fact that BJP MPs, in different parts of North Bengal, are not being allowed to leave their homes. In response to this, Sarkar stated that staying at homes in the present situation will help the nation to combat the virus soon.
