TMC leader Bikash Sarkar slammed with show-cause-notice over chaos in COVID vaccination centre

Siliguri, 16th September: Two days ago, a conflict broke out in Jagadish Chandra Vidyapeeth over outsiders interfering in the COVID vaccination process in Ward No. 24. Some locals accused Trinamool leader Bikash Sarkar of the incident. Apart from this, allegations surfaced on Wednesday that Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh was harassed near Tarun Tirtha Club during the vaccination process. Following this, BJP leaders staged a protest. After the incidents, Trinamool President Papiya Ghosh issued a show-cause notice to Sarkar.

Regarding this, district Trinamool chairman Alok Chakraborty said “There must be discipline in every party. A letter has been sent to find out what really happened. There is nothing insulting in this.”

On the other hand, Bikash Sarkar said that the vaccination was done on behalf of SMC. No outsider was taken there. The MLA himself went there and created chaos.
