TMC following Left Front’s policy to create unrest in the hills: MP Raju Bista

Siliguri, 29th December: Claiming that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government will be formed in Bengal after 2021 Assembly election, Darjeeling MP Raju Bista said that all-round development for the people of the state will be done then.

Addressing an organizational programme in Patharghata today, he assured that the problems of the people will be solved after the BJP comes into power. He said that as the central government has passed the Minimum Wage Act, the tea garden workers will soon earn at least Rs 300 per day. Likewise, workers in various other private sectors will also receive equal pay and equal rights, Bista added.

During the said programme, the MP handed over blankets to hundreds of needy people in the area. On the other hand, when asked about the political scenario and the return of Bimal Gurung to the hills, MP Raju Bista said that the Trinamool government is now adopting the same policy as the Left Front government did to create unrest in the hills.

Meanwhile, in response to Bista’s statement, Trinamool Congress district president Ranjan Sarkar said that Raju Bista has no idea regarding the agricultural culture of Bengal.
