Kharibari, 13th September: A special team of the Kharibari police arrested a gang of three inter-state bike lifters. Among the arrested individuals, two are residents of Bihar and one is a resident of Bengal.
During a press conference on Saturday, Darjeeling District Gramin DSP Achintya Gupta stated that the special team launched operations and arrested three members of the inter-state bike theft ring. The arrested accused have been identified as Sanjay Sinha (26), Shaulendra Prasad Singh (30) and Bandhan Roy (30).
They were produced in court and taken in remand for 7 days. 23 bikes were recovered from their possession.
