Naxalbari, 15th April: Three individuals, including a married couple, were arrested with 281 grams of brown sugar. The accused have been identified as Ruksana Khatoon (27), Farooq Choudhary (32) and Marzina Khatoon (24).
Reportedly, this morning, the Naxalbari police recovered the illegal narcotics and a weighing machine after conducting a campaign in Khal Basti area of Naxalbari. Among the arrested, Marzina Khatoon is a resident of Matigara, while Ruksana Khatoon and Farooq Choudhary are residents of Khal Basti. The accused were produced in the Siliguri court today.
