“Those involved in sub-standard work will be blacklisted”: Nisith Pramanik issues strong warning after meeting at Uttar Kanya, Siliguri

Siliguri, 16th May: North Bengal Development Minister Nisith Pramanik visited Uttar Kanya after assuming charge of the department and issued a strong warning against those allegedly involved in sub-standard work and irregularities in development projects.

On Saturday, the minister held his first administrative meeting at Uttar Kanya after taking charge of the North Bengal Development Department. Upon his arrival, he was welcomed by the department secretary and other officials.

During the meeting, Nisith Pramanik reviewed the progress of various development projects across North Bengal. From the very first meeting, the minister was seen taking a strict stand against corruption and sub-standard work.

Addressing the media after the meeting, Nisith Pramanik said, “Those involved in sub-standard work carried out in the past will be identified and blacklisted. There will be no place for contractor raj, middlemen or brokers in the North Bengal Development Department.”

He further stated, “Work will happen where work is needed, development will happen where development is needed. We will not tolerate any kind of sabotage.”
