Siliguri, 05th July: After abandoned Aadhaar cards were found dumped inside the garbage vat in Ward No. 33 of Siliguri, this morning, a plastic container filled with cartridge shells was found in the same ward. Like the Aadhaar cards, the container had been dumped into the garbage bin.
Mistaking them to be live cartridges, the sanitation workers immediately took the package to the ward office. Later, the ward office staff handed it over to the police. According to police sources, the box contains the shells of used cartridges. NJP Police is probing the entire incident.
