Siliguri, 14th November: An atmosphere of tension prevailed in North Bengal University regarding the hike in migration certificate fees. The students strongly condemned the decision to increase the form fee from Rs 50 to Rs 500.
In this regard, University Registrar Dr. Pranab Ghosh said that the fee has been increased as per the EC meeting. He added that the fees have been increased after 18 years and the information was already uploaded on the website.
