Tension erupts in Fulbari over alleged attack on BJP workers after poll, BJP stages protest outside NJP police station

Siliguri, 24th April: Tension erupted in Fulbari area adjacent to Siliguri following allegations of attack on BJP workers after poll.

According to reports, BJP workers were allegedly attacked in Fulbari, with accusations being raised against TMC workers, creating tension in the locality.

Following the incident, police from NJP police station arrested one person during the night.

Demanding the arrest of all accused, BJP leaders staged a protest outside NJP police station on Friday. Dabgram-Fulbari BJP candidate Sikha Chatterjee also participated in the protest.

She alleged that some TMC workers attacked BJP workers after polling ended and said a complaint has been lodged at NJP police station against the accused.
