Siliguri, 22nd September: Temporary workers staged a protest at the office of the General Manager of Bharat Sanchar Nigam in Siliguri demanding payment of pending salaries.
The workers complained that they have not been receiving their arrears for the past few months. Despite staging multiple sit-in protests, their problems have not been solved. Hence, they demonstrated today.
The protestors warned of staging larger demonstrations if their demands are not met soon.
