Siliguri, 15th September: On the 24th foundation day of Surya Sen College, a new building for chemistry, a physics laboratory, and a guest house was inaugurated on Tuesday.
The administrator of Siliguri Municipal Corporation Goutam Deb hoisted the flag of Suryasen College and laid a wreath at the statue of ‘Master Da’ Surya Sen in the presence of Dr Subiresh Bhattacharya, Vice-Chancellor of North Bengal University and others. COVID warriors, students, teachers, and college staff were also felicitated during the programme.
Goutam Deb said “The college is improving. We have helped in every way. We will try to make it better in the coming days.”
On the other hand, the principal of the college PK Mishra said that the foundation day of the college was celebrated today with a small number of students and teachers in compliance with the COVID rules.
