In light of the prevailing scorching heat, the summer vacation for both government and private schools has been extended by an additional 10 days. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee made this announcement during a press conference held at Nabanna on Wednesday.
Initially, upper primary schools were scheduled to reopen on June 5, followed by primary schools on June 7. However, considering the extreme weather conditions, the holiday period has been extended until June 15.
