Siliguri, 06th February: Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar passed away in Mumbai on Sunday at the age of 92. Students Society paid their last respects by laying wreaths on her portrait and lighting candles at Kanchenjunga Stadium in Siliguri. A minute of silence was also observed.
Manoj Verma, a member of the Students Society, said that Lata Mangeshkar’s death is a great loss to the nation.
