Rajganj, 07th February: The students of Rajganj College staged a protest in support of various demands and submitted a memorandum to the college. The demonstration was conducted in front of the principal’s room, today.
The students demanded the Saraswati puja offerings be redistributed, drinking water to be made available, identity cards of the students, the accounts of the past three years for the Saraswati Puja celebration and many more.
In response to this, Dr Harprasad Mishra, the Principal of Rajganj College stated the Saraswati puja was organized in compliance with the discussion with the college’s cultural committee and the students’ representatives. He assured of looking into the issues raised by the students.
