Students of Mathabhanga Govt. Polytechnic College stages a protest demanding indefinite campus shutdown

Cooch Behar, 03rd October: The students of Mathabhanga Government Polytechnic College have allegedly failed due to the absence of proper assessment. As a result, the students joined a demonstration at the college adjacent to Panchanan More in Mathabhanga, advocating for the institution’s permanent closure.

According to reports, on Tuesday, the protesting students claimed that a lack of adequate evaluation prevented several students from passing the exams. Additionally, the duration of conducting the exam has been shortened and the question paper pattern has been altered. Due to improper instruction, college students were experiencing difficulties with additional issues within the college.

In addition to the protest, the students initiated serving ‘Nakul dana’ (sugar balls) to mark their failure. However, the teachers refrained from consuming them.
