Siliguri, 29th August: Maa Santoshi Janmotsav was celebrated with devotion and religious fervour at Santoshi Nagar in Ward No. 05 of the Siliguri Municipal Corporation.
Organised by the Santoshi Nagar Janseva Samiti, the celebration began in the morning with various religious rituals and prayers. A large number of devotees gathered to worship Maa Santoshi and seek blessings for the happiness and prosperity of their families and the wider community.
A devotional atmosphere prevailed across the area as devotees participated in the prayers and other religious activities. A Bhandara (community feast) was also organised, with a large number of devotees receiving Prasad. The organising committee made special arrangements to ensure the convenience of those attending the celebration.
According to the organisers, the annual celebration witnessed enthusiasm and devotion among devotees, with several religious and cultural programmes held as part of the event. These included a Bhajan Sandhya (devotional music session) and a felicitation ceremony.
