Students celebrated Rakshabandhan with SSB in Fulbari

Rajganj, 11th August: Today, Raksha Bandhan is being observed all over the nation to celebrate the bond between a brother and a sister. To commemorate the festival, the students of a private school in Fulbari tied rakhi to the soldiers of the 195th Batallion stationed at the Indo-Bangladesh border in Fulbari. The soldiers away from home were seen quite ecstatic with happiness with the rakhi on their wrists.

Meanwhile, the women of Siliguri’s Anandadhara Sangeet School also tied rakhis to the frontline soldiers and boosted their morale by singing songs on the occasion. In this regard, Sarwani Dutta said that they celebrated the day by tying rakhi on the soldiers’ wrists as they are the country’s brothers who protect the nation. Their wrist should not remain bare on the special occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Keeping this in mind, the school students decided to celebrate the day with the soldiers.
