Siliguri, 27 May: State Police DGP Manoj Malviya reached Bagdogra Airport from Kolkata on Friday.
North Bengal IG DP Singh, and Siliguri’s Police Commissioner Gaurav Sharma welcomed him at the airport. Reportedly, apart from attending the closing ceremony of the football match organized by the Siliguri Police Commissionerate, he will inspect the law and order situation as well.
The DGP’s visit is being considered to be very important ahead of the GTA elections and the Siliguri Divisional Council elections.
