Kharibari, 20th September: The 41st Battalion of SSB arrested a woman at the Indo-Nepal border, on Sunday night. The arrested accused has been identified as Ram Kumari Limbu (35).
It has been learned that SSB detained the woman at the Panitanki Checkpost in Kharibari when she was trying to illegally enter India from Nepal.
Several documents including identity cards from India, Nepal, and Hong Kong were recovered from her possession. After questioning her, it was learned that she is a Nepali citizen and had fraudulently obtained an Indian passport to go to Hong Kong. SSB arrested her and handed her over to Kharibari police. She was produced at Siliguri court today.
