Kharibari, 11th June: Jawans of SSB’s 41st Battalion Kadomnijot D Company seized cattle illegally brought from Nepal during patrol. However, no arrest has been made in connection to the incident. After the necessary procedure, the seized cattle were handed over to the Kharibari police station.
According to SSB, the cattle were being brought from Nepal near Pillar No. 94 located on the Indo-Nepal border. When stopped by the jawans, the smugglers fled towards Nepal leaving the cattle behind. Following this, the SSB jawans rescued the cattle.
