Fulbari, 09th October: While the Durga Puja is just around the corner, a voluntary organization named Srishti Foundation provided a wheelchair and new clothes to a disabled woman. Besides, Rs 10,000 was handed over to a college student for her higher education.
It has been learned that Dola Das, a resident of Fulbari No. 01, Srinagar, lost the ability to walk the previous year. Despite being treated at a government hospital for a long time, she did not recover and is currently at home. Upon learning about her story, the said organization came forward to help her. Organization head Goutam Goswami handed her over the wheelchair and new clothes.
Besides, Goswami provided Rs 10,000 to Ananya Sarkar, a college student from Bhalobasha More, for her higher education.
