Darjeeling, 01st May: In the last 24 hours, a total of 408 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the Darjeeling district, including the Siliguri municipal area and parts of Jalpaiguri.
According to the information received, 197 COVID-19 cases have been reported from Siliguri municipal area, 05 from Darjeeling municipality, 12 from Sukna, 13 from Kurseong municipality, 07 from Mirik, 08 from Bijanbari, 03 from Sukhia Pokhari, 07 Takdah, 25 Kharibari, 68 from Matigara, 27 from Naxalbari and 36 from Phansidewa. A total of 267 cases are from SMC including the Jalpaiguri portion.
77 cases have been recovered including home isolation patients (*this discharge figures don’t include discharge from private hospitals and defence establishment)
