Rajganj, 18th February: 35-year-old Rajkumar Roy of Krishnanagar Colony under Binnaguri Gram Panchayat in Rajganj block has been missing for the past 12 days.
Roy works in a garage in Siliguri and is the sole breadwinner of the family. Since his disappearance, his wife and son are in a helpless situation.
Reportedly, the day after Saraswati Puja on February 06, Roy’s son went to a cultural event near their house. At around 9 pm that night, Rajkumar Roy stepped out of his house to fetch his son. He has been missing since then. Unable to find him anywhere, his wife Jyotsna Roy lodged a missing complaint at the Ambari police outpost on February 08.
While the Ambari outpost police asserted that an investigation is underway to find the missing person, no sign of Roy has been found to date.
