Siliguri, 03rd October: The Special Operations Group of the Siliguri Metropolitan Police and the Police, acting on a tip-off, raided a house in Rabindra Nagar and recovered a large quantity of fireworks.
It has been learned that illegal fireworks were stored in Narayan Chandra Saha’s house in Rabindra Nagar, Siliguri. Based on a tip-off, the police and SOG launched operations and recovered a large quantity of banned fireworks.
The arrested individual was taken to the Siliguri police station. Police have detained house owner Narayan Chandra Saha. Police have started an investigation into the whole incident.
