Snana Yatra of Lord Jagannath and his divine siblings organized in ISKCON temple of Siliguri

Siliguri, 14th June: The annual bathing festival Snana Yatra, which is celebrated on the full moon day as per the Hindu calendar was held at the ISKCON temple in Siliguri earlier today. The devotees were allowed to have the first darshan of Lord Jagannath and his divine siblings Balarama and Subhadra, who were then bathed with ghee, honey, curd and milk. The Rath Yatra will be taken out on July 01.


On behalf of ISKCON temple, co-ordinator Nam Krishna Das said that the bathing ritual was completed today and after 15 days the Rath Yatra will be organized. “This year’s Rath Yatra will be celebrated with much zeal and pomp, especially after the outbreak of COVID-19 has subsided,” he added.
