Siliguri, 23rd April: Under the leadership of Siliguri Municipality Corporation Mayor, as well as, the Ward Councillor Ashok Bhattacharya, special sanitization measures commenced in Siliguri’s Ward No. 6 area to combat the spread of the novel coronavirus.
In this context, the Mayor stated that disinfectants and sanitizers were sprayed in a specific area of the ward today.
He further maintained that although few departments of the SMC office resumed work after several days of lockdown, however, they are functioning with very less workforce.
