Siliguri, 10th November: Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC) Mayor and Ward No. 33 Councillor Goutam Deb inaugurated a mastic road in Siliguri. On Friday, the mayor officially opened the road for operation in the presence of Deputy Mayor Ranjan Sarkar, Borough Committee No. IV Chairman Jayanta Saha, MMIC Sikta Dey Basu Roy, and other public representatives.
According to reports, the residents of the locality had a prolonged demand for the construction of a mastic road. In alignment with the demands, the Mayor undertook the initiative and constructed the road with an estimated budget leveling up to Rs 26 lakhs, circumambulating along the border of Ward No. 26 and 33 of Siliguri.
