Siliguri, 04th February: Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC) will be putting two new machines named Power Oriar 1200 and Tromel into use to carry out cleanliness drive in the city and also to provide a solution regarding the dumping ground.
18 crore rupees were required to purchase the machines. A trial run of the machines was held at SMC today. Ashok Bhattacharya, chairman of the BoA at SMC, will inaugurate the machines tomorrow. Garbage recycling will also be done with these machines.
