Siliguri, 24th December: The current Board of Administrators of Siliguri Municipal Corporation is constantly working to build a garbage-free city. To keep the services of the city smooth and normal, SMC inaugurated a trailer with 10 tractors.
It has been learned that 4 trailers will be used as of now. In the next two weeks, 6 more trailers will be used for garbage disposal in the city. Goutam Deb, chairman of the governing body of SMC, BoA member Ranjan Sarkar, Alok Chakraborty, and others inaugurated the trailer by showing the green flag at Baghajatin Park on Friday.
Goutam Deb said that out of 10 trailers, 5 trailers will be given to borough offices. The remaining five will be used by SMC itself.
