Siliguri, 02nd January: CPIM candidate Sourav Sarkar of Ward No. 04 carried out electioneering, on Sunday.
In the past, the said ward was occupied by the Left Front. Later, Councilor Parimal Mitra joined Trinamool Congress following which, CPIM lost power over the ward. On Sunday, Sourav Sarkar campaigned and urged all to vote for him.
“Today I have completed the Sunday campaign. I have heard about the various problems of common people. I am getting a good response,” Sourav Sarkar said.
