Siliguri, 21st September: Administrator of Siliguri Municipal Corporation Goutam Deb held a meeting concerning the upcoming Durga Puja festival with the police administration and officials of various departments at SMC, on Tuesday.
After the meeting, Goutam Deb said that like the previous year, instructions have been given to make open puja pandals, this year too. Masks and sanitizers should be arranged in all puja pandals. No new puja will be allowed this year. Those who have permission can take this year’s permission through online or offline procedures.
Furthermore, idol immersion will be held from October 15 to 17. Apart from Mahananda Lalmohan Moulik Niranjan Ghat, arrangements for idol immersion will also be made in Parbatighat.
