Siliguri, 30th May: Raincoats were distributed among the cleaning staff of Ward No. 10 under the initiative of Ward No. 10 and with the assistance of a voluntary organization. SMC administrator Goutam Deb handed over the raincoats to the workers.
Goutam Deb said ‘Safai workers are an important part of society. Keeping in mind the rainy season, raincoats were given to them on the initiative of Ward No. 10.’
Ward Coordinator Kamal Agarwal, Manoj Burma, and many others were present at the programme.
