Siliguri, 21st June: Just like million other Indians, the people of Siliguri too was waiting patiently to catch a glimpse of the annular solar eclipse today, which is the last one for the decade.

In this context, the Sky Watchers Association of North Bengal (SWAN) made arrangements to help citizens view the eclipse from the grounds next to Siliguri park. People of all ages were spotted at the mentioned area since this morning.

Several instruments were also arranged for proper viewing of the eclipse. However, the excitement was somewhat dampened by the cloud cover which made it difficult for the citizens to enjoy the solar eclipse to the fullest.

Besides, surveillance was kept to ensure whether everyone was wearing mouth masks and social distance was being maintained or not.
