Siliguri, 25th August: SJDA Chairman Vijay Chandra Barman inspected the illegal construction at Bidhan Market today. He was accompanied by Siliguri SDO Sumant Sahay and other administrative officials.
Addressing the media, Barman stated that they have come across nine illegally constructed properties so far. Each of the shops has been identified and action will be taken against them according to the law.
He further added that several more illegal constructions were traced during the inspection. Legal action will be taken soon.
