Siliguri, 22nd May: Siliguri’s voluntary organization Vidya Sagar Touch Care Society provided food items to the COVID-19 affected families, today. Currently, the organization has provided food items to 100 such families and also sanitized the infected areas in the city.
The members of the organization gave food items to a family infected by the fatal coronavirus in Siliguri’s Ward No. 07. In addition to this, the area was also sanitized. On behalf of the organization, Sourendra Nath Sarkar said that in view of the lockdown, food items were distributed among the tea workers not only in Siliguri but also in various closed tea gardens.
