Siliguri, 13th August: Mayor Goutam Deb handed over school uniforms to the students of Netaji Boys Primary School in Ward No. 20 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation. During this, the Chairperson of No. 03 Borough Committee of Siliguri Municipal Corporation Milli Sinha, Mayor-Council Shobha Subba, and councilor of Ward No. 20 Abhaya Bose were present along with the teachers of the school.
During this, the Mayor stated that there are 154 primary schools under the Siliguri Municipal Corporation. The number of girl students is about 49 thousand and further assured that the SMC will distribute the uniforms among all the students. Today, they have handed over uniforms to 325 students of Netaji Boys Primary School.
