Siliguri, 14th July: The 12-hour bandh called by BJP had a huge impact on various markets in Siliguri.
Reportedly, several shops in Bidhan Market, Hawkers Corner, and Mahabirsthan were closed since this morning.
Incidentally, a 12-hour strike across the entire North Bengal has been called by the Bharatiya Janata Party, as a sign of protest against the mysterious death of Devendra Nath Roy, BJP MLA of Hematabad under North Dinajpur district on Monday.
