Siliguri, 24th August: Amit Thapa, a resident of Siliguri, returned safely from Afghanistan on Tuesday. He has been working as a security guard in Kabul, Afghanistan for 9 long years.
After reaching Siliguri, he said that he reached Delhi from Dubai via London with the help of the British Army. “From there, I reached Siliguri today. We were safe in the British army camp. I hope to go back to work in Afghanistan. I have worked there for a long time.”
