Malda, 02nd June: 62-year-old Rita Sherpa, a resident of Sonada Darjeeling, lost her life while she was traveling back home to Siliguri from Kolkata in Padatik Express.
Rita Sherpa, who was a diabetic patient, died when the train left from Malda Town Station. The train was immediately stopped and the body was recovered.
As per the report, the body was sent to Malda Medical College-Hospital for an autopsy. The Railway police are investigating the matter.
