Kharibari, 16th January: The city’s Traffic Police are taking strict actions against vehicles parked in the ‘No Parking’ zone in the Kharibari and Naxalbari areas.
Wheel locks are being installed in the illegally parked vehicles. Ghoshpukur Traffic OC Sanjiv Dutta stated that ‘No Parking’ zones have been made for public comfort in many places. A ‘No Parking’ zone has also been placed near the Naxalbari bus stand, but many drivers ignore the rules and park their vehicles in the restricted area. In view of this, wheel locks are being installed in vehicles parked in restricted areas.
