Siliguri, 26th January: The 73rd Republic Day was celebrated in Siliguri Town Station. The entire station premises were decorated with tricolor balloons. The flag was hoisted by station manager Pratima Dey, area manager Asif Ali and other female staff of the station.
It has been learned that Siliguri town station is the only station in the state that is looked after by female staff for 24 hours. The Railway Department felicitated 10 of them on Republic Day.
