Siliguri, 30th July: Siliguri Police’s Tourist Helpline helped a Delhi-based couple recover their lost laptop bag after they accidentally left it on a bus while travelling from Alipurduar to Bagdogra Airport.
According to reports, Delhi residents Sayantan Pal and his wife Anindita Barman were travelling to Bagdogra Airport when they left their laptop bag inside the bus. After reaching the airport, they realised that the bag was missing and immediately contacted the Tourist Helpline of Siliguri Police.
Upon receiving the information, police contacted the concerned bus and its staff and started a search operation. The laptop bag was recovered shortly after.
After completing the necessary procedures, DCP (Traffic) Quazi Samsuddin Ahamed handed over the recovered laptop bag safely to the couple’s family. The family appreciated the prompt action and cooperation of Siliguri Traffic Police.
