Siliguri, 10th December: Siliguri sub-division book fair will commence from December 13 and continue till December 19 at Baghajatin Park, Siliguri. 65 stalls will be set up at the fair.
Siliguri Municipal Corporation administrator Goutam Deb held a press conference in this regard on Friday. The book fair is being organized by the local library authority and Siliguri sub-division council. An ‘Adda’ zone will also be present, where literary and people from different walks of life can interact with each other. There will also be seminars and cultural events on various topics.
Last year, books worth around Rs 10 lakh were sold at the subdivision book fair. The organizers are hopeful that the numbers will increase this time.
